My love for Grey's Anatomy & Seattle!

Okay, So I know that I really shouldn't watch as much tv as I do but when it comes to Grey's Anatomy I can't help it! Not only have I loved this show from day 1, but I also have a fond love for my "homeland" (AKA the Seattle area). I haven't missed an episode and i'm so excited the new season starts September 24!! I love alot of other shows as well but this one is one of my true loves when it comes to tv! haha Lame I know but I can't help it! As I was watching the sneak peak for the new season the song that is in the opening scene is called Sink or Swim By Tyrone Wells. The song is awesome and he's an awsome artist! That's the other thing that I love about Grey's is that they ALWAYS have the perfect song for the perfect moment! It's like even if you can't relate to what is happening on the show you can relate to the song and maybe it has something to do with what is happening to you. So in some way it touches your heart! That's why I LOVE this show. I can't wait! I'm sure that I will be talking about it weekly with Janelle (who also likes it)! In case you couldn't tell I'm REALLY REALLY excited!

O Brother!

I'm so WAY excited. Our brother Ben is coming to visit.. Well, we are a stop in his journey! He is actually coming to Spokane for Survival training for the Airforce. BUT the good news is that he is coming home for a few days! It's been 2 years or so since he's been home and I can't wait! I'm very proud of Ben and the things that he's done with his military career.. and for the AMAZING 3 little people he helped to create (even though i've only met one), I still love them all! I can't wait for Ben to meet our nephew Jayden! They have never met, but I can guarantee that he is going to love him just as much if not more then we all do! Love you Ben, can't wait for your visit!

Aunties little man.

Jayden LeAndre Sanders.. He's my little man! From day one i've had a fond love for my little guy! He's almost a year old and getting so big.. Growing into his personality! This last weekend he started standing on his own. Granted it's only for a few seconds but he was standing.. AND i've gotten him to give kisses! It's so cute... So, here are a few pictures of my amazing little man!

I was getting ready for bed and realized that I really wasn't that tired even though it was like 1030.. I know late! haha As I usually do when i'm bored, I started to clean.. first with the bookshelf then with the clean laundry from earlier this week and yesterday. While I started I thought I would listen to my playlist on projectplaylist (shout out, BTW I love this website) and check my email! Success I got all my cleaning done in record time..here is part of my cleaning venture.. maybe half the clean part! and.. here is the dirty laundry.. well, one of the three baskets I took out tonight!

Montana.

I know it's a few weeks since the 4th of July! For the 4th Mike and I went to Montana with his mom and her friend. It was so much fun! I've never been to Montana, it was an experience. It was like being in a time warp! Everyone rides around on ATV's and is so nice. I don't know what I was expecting but it was very pretty! National forest all around.. a change from here at home! Lol We stayed in a town called St. Regis. It was really small, but awesome! We camped in the Lolo national forest and had a blast. It was quite and right by the river. Mike had fun because with the fireworks you could light anything off anywhere! It was cool the way that the city did it... they had everyone come down to the park (which was also a sports complex), and they had a "city" fireworks show and then they allowed everyone to light off their fireworks! Mike was like a kid in a candy store! So, yeah. While everyone else was having fun we were in Montana which actually turned out to be REALLY fun!

This kid is amazing. He's a 15 year old singer from Canada that was signed by Usher. Anyhow, this song is one that I really like.. It's one of those songs that reminds you of someone in your life. In my case it reminds me of Raymond (my bio dad) and the relationship or lack there of! Here is the link.. check him out!

New Music Discoveries.

So.. I haven't blogged for a while! But this one was to good to pass up! As we all know i'm addicted to "reality" TV. MTV has a few shows that I ABSOLUTELY love! The show is called Taking The Stage, set around SCPA. A school in Ohio for "creative" kids. Anyways, this girl is Mia Carruthers. She is AMAZING! I love her original songs.. she plays good acoustic sets! Here is a video of her playing her original song, breathe you in. She wrote it when she was 15 about a boy (of course)! haha Check her out!

I'm a little behind the times. But, I just thought I would let y'all know. Wait for it, wait for it... Tada--> This is going to be amazing! Yes, the sequel to Twilight is in the near future! They had so much success with releasing Twilight on 11/21/2008, that the new director has decided to release New Moon on 11/20/2009! Can't wait.. We will be there at the midnight showing.. AGAIN!

Addictions.. Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings. TWILIGHT! Pt. 2

I know I know. I must say that mom and I weren't there at midnight to get Twilight... However, we did call around to see who had it on Saturday! So, I got the two disk set and yes! I've watched it already three times since Saturday! I'm just a little addicted.. I can't help it! It's like when you were a kid and you watched the little mermaid over and over and over! Yeah, that's me with Twilight.. I just can't get enough of handsome Edward Cullen! Why can't he exsist in real life? haha

New artist discovery..

In a moment of bordem I discovered a new artist, her name is Hana Pestle. She has an acoustic/indie sound! I really like her. She is a small town girl from Montana and I really love that. AND it just so happens that she has a song on the upcoming soundtrack for New Moon (which for those of you who don't know is book #2 of the twilight series!).. haha No that's not how I found her.. but check her music out, she's GREATNESS if i've ever heard it!

Addictions.. Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings. TWILIGHT!

Some people are addicted to Harry Potter, some LOVE Lord of the Rings.. I along with a few of the girls in my office are addicted to Twilight. TEAM Bella & Edward all the way! Which just so happens to be coming out on this saturday at 12:01am! YEAH! Mom said she would by it for me as my belated birthday present! We are making the trek to Wally world at midnight just to get it! YEAH! I can't wait.. It's going to be awesome! As soon as I get it I will be setting up a twilight party! Let me know if you would like an invite.. haha Just kidding. I will however be watching it numerous times! Mike will have to deal, I mean he could watch it with me! He did fall asleep in the theater watching it with Jen and I! Lol So, needless to say! I can't help but be WAY ecstatic.

Checkerd Flag Productions Present.. Monster Trucks

One of the perks of working for a TV Station is that we get things for free when "big" productions come to town (because they advertise with us), so this last weekend I got tickets for the Monster truck show! So, Mike, Grandpa (big Frank) as Mike calls him, and I went! It was good. It wasn't by any means GREAT.. but it was exciting. I'd never been (or atleast I can't remember) ever being at something like that! It was fun. Unfortunately, right now I can't find my camera but I will get pictures up here soon!

So I forgot to blog yesterday to finish my countdown.. But none the less, the countdown is over! Yesterday was my birthday.. Yes!

I had the best weekend in Spokane with Mike and his mom. I got my best present yet.. my (pink) coach bag! Thank you for that honey.. I love it!

Brother Ben

I'm not sure that I've ever told my brother Ben how proud of him I am! He is doing an AMAZING job in the Air Force. He was just promoted to Staff Sargent this week, and was nominated for Airman of the year a few months ago. GO Ben! On top of giving our family our little Lil and the newest additions, Alexander and Aidan. From what I hear they are quite the little people running around Georgia! haha I can't wait to be able to see the boys in person (although it may be a LONG time) but ya know! So, back to my original rant.. I'm VERY proud of Ben. He has impressed me and i'm sure as Lilly and the boys get older that they will be very proud of their father as well! Good job Ben! Keep up the good work!

For The Love of Rain..

Rain Rain go away, come again another day! NOT... I LOVE the rain. Oh happy day for me. It's been raining ALL DAY, literally! It's the best! It smells so clean outside. I can't help but wonder why it can't do this everyday, if not everyother day. That would be GREAT! Just though i'd share!

Long lost family..

I'm sitting at work scrolling through the pictures on my camera and I came across pictures from a few weeks ago when mom and I got to see Bean and Aunt Susie! I haven't seen them in FOREVER! Bean is going to cosmetology school and will be done sometime here in March and Aunt Susie is apparently still loving Alaska! The last time that I saw either of them was a LONG time ago at Schamp Camp... haha For those that don't know what that is it is when grandma and grandpa Schamp take all the grandkids for a week during the summer and just have fun! No parents are allowed! Lol.. It's a joyus time! So it's been a while since I last saw them! Also, in one of the photo s is our cousin Dustin. Who has had somewhat of a hard time in the last few years but hopefully he can pull it together with the help of others and start to come around the family more often! Love you Dust. For all of those family members that haven't seen them in a while.. here are a few pictures! ENJOY!

Puppy!

Although she has yet to have a name.. There is a new puppy in our lives! Mike got a new dachsund puppy from one of the girls that I work with. She is his new love! haha She's about six weeks now and is a bundle of energy! She loves to chase her shadow and "bark" at things! It's cute! She has been welcomed into our family by Neiko & Chewe-e and has proven that she can handle her own! She's a cutie! So... here she is!

Six Months.

Mike and I have been dating for six months. I know it seems like a little amount of time for some people but for the two of us it's a while.. and we'll keep on pluggin away and challenging eachother! Mike has made quite a bit of progress in the last six months! I will never forget the day that he made the decision to get baptised! He is an amazing man and i'm very proud of him! I know it's been a short amount of time, but if you know you know, and he is the one I want to be with FOREVER!

A rough couple of weeks..

As some may already know i've had a rough last few weeks. About two weeks ago I went to the doc and found out that I had a cyst (in the not so good area). By that next tuesday it was unbareable for me to even sit in my desk chair at work. I went home early that day and by the time I was out of the office I couldn't even see to drive I was crying so hard! Eventually, I made it home. When I got there (thank goodness) mom was there. We called my doc and wasn't able to get in, so, we called Dr. Laura.. haha. She is a good family friend, a dr., and I knew she would get us in! She said come down now and we'll check it out. It took her and two other dr's to look at it. The decision was made to book an OR. We did, and by eight that night I was ready for surgery. After a quick and painless (becuase I was knocked out) surgery I was headed to recovery. I had a quick stay in the hospital and was on my way home a day later! I've since followed Doc's orders and am feeling MUCH MUCH better! I was off for a few days and realized how much I REALLY won't be able to not work and be home all day! Don't get me wrong it was nice to wake up at nine, take a nap at one, and be in bed by nine thirty. It was the being home all day (not being able to do anything) that got me. So, it's been a rough two weeks but i'm pushing through.

The lives we live..

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you had someone in your life now that you've lost so long ago? For those close to me they know that I lost a dear friend who took her life in 2001. Every day when I drive home from work I pass the cemetary where her body lies, and every day I say to myself "I'll stop by tomorrow". It has yet to happen. But it's made me think alot of what i've done with my life in the last year, more then that what have I done in the eight years since her death? Truly, I couldn't tell you. I really haven't accomplished much.. and it's all about to change! I don't know how yet, but it's going to change and i'm excited about it!

So, I ask the question of you. What have you accomplished lately?
